Cheryl Mathieson McCoy, 53, of Franklin passed away January 14, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. 

Cheryl was born April 18, 1964 in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie "Jean" Mathieson.   

Cheryl graduated from Grove City High School.  She worked at Kimberly Family Restaurant in Barkeyville prior to its closing and also at Rudy's in Grove City as a cook.   She was employed at Vision Quest in Franklin as well.   Cheryl passion was home health, having taken care of numerous elderly people in their home.     She was a member of the American Legion in Harrisville.  Spending time with her grandchildren also brightened her day.  She treasured each one of them.  She enjoyed going to new places and traveling to different places she had not been before.  She liked to watch dirt track racing at the local race ways.  

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her children; Theresa McCoy of Seneca, Brandy Keith and her companion Joe Heidkamp of Evans City, Sadie McCoy and her companion Donny Malone Jr. of Franklin, Cassie McCoy of Franklin and Christopher Mincer of Butler.  Her  grandchildren: Kayden, Addy, Zeke, Ava, Tristan, Jasmine and Lela.  Cheryl companion also survives Sam Keith of Franklin.  Her brother and sisters survive Peggy Guthrie and her husband Randy of Jackson Center, Robert E. Mathieson Jr. of Volant, Ralph "Punch" Oakes and his wife Sharon of Sharpsville, Bob W. Mathieson and his wife Debbie of Mercer and Lester Paul Mathieson and his fiancée Diana of Jackson Center.  She is also survived by her ex husband Raymond McCoy of Grove City.

Cheryl is proceeded in death by her parents, a brother Larry Mathieson and her aunt Ada Burk.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, Box 303 Clintonville PA 16372 to help defray funeral expenses.
