Christie Donaldson, 23, formerly of Harrisville passed away unexpectedly August 1, 2016.

Christie was born November 6, 1992 to Michele (Chambers) Donaldson and Zeke Donaldson in Newport Rhode Island.

Christie attended Franklin High School and received her GED several months later,  eager to grow up and start her own life.   She worked at Eat n Park in Franklin and worked as a CNA for a period of time before moving to her current job as a machinist at General Electric in Grove City. 

Christie loved all animals, as a child she seemed to connect and bond with all of them but her passion was horses.  She was always outside enjoying nature.  She enjoyed hunting and fishing also.  Christie was a bright bubbly personality with many friends.  She was involved in volleyball and cheerleading while attending high school.   She loved to run and go to the gym.  Christie was one that if she wanted something she went for it with all she had.  She was also a mother of two beautiful children that she was very proud of and loved very much. 

Loved ones left to cherish Christie's memory are her parents Zeke and Michele Donaldson of Harrisville, Her children Natalie and Trenton Horn of Oil City and their father Nate Horn of Oil City,  Her brother Cody Donaldson of Harrisville and her sisters Emily and Grace Donaldson of Harrisville.  Also surviving are her paternal grandparents Jeannie Weaver and her husband Bob of Grove City and Harry Donaldson and Linda of Parker.  Her maternal grandparents Rick and Diane Chambers of Emlenton.  Her aunts and uncles Rashel "Shellie" Donaldson and her companion Mike Brown of Clintonville, Quincy Deloe and his husband John of St. Petersburg,  Jason Chambers and his wife Kelly of Emlenton, Marcy Best and her husband Tom of Emlenton, Mindy Bailey and her husband Rob of Emlenton.    Several cousins also survive; Keirsten Klein of Maine, Nigel Klein of Florida, Mackenna Chambers of Emlenton, Ethan Best of Emlenton,  Bryce Best of Emlenton, Meaghan Bailey of Emlenton and Joshua Bailey of Emlenton.

Preceded in death by her cousin Emma Chambers. 

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5-8.  Funeral services will take place at the funeral home Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Kenneth Hughes officiating from the Barkeyville United Methodist Church.    Interment will take place at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.
