Dannie James Hoffman

Dannie James Hoffman, 64, of Nectarine passed away peacefully January 7, 2024 with his devoted wife at his side after many years of declining health.

Dan was born January 16, 1959 in Grove City to Dale and Martha Hoffman.  Both preceded him in death.

He married his “Nurse Friend”, Diana (Annie) Grimes on December 28, 2005 after nearly 10 years of dating.

Life spent with Dan, Diana describes, was an adventure.  From raising cattle and honey bees to pulling oil wells and operating a trucking business and used car lot/repair shop.

Dan was self employed the majority of his life.  He was a successful business owner of D.J. Trucking, Mustang Express and Dan’s Barkeyville Motors.

Loved ones to cherish his memory are his wife at home and his father and mother-in-law Jerry and Velma Grimes. 

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will take place at the funeral home Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at Peters Chapel Cemetery.
