Edward Mahood Obituary

Edward R. Mahood, 77 of Clintonville passed away November 5, 2018 at Grove City Medical Center.

Ed was born  October  11, 1941 in Clintonville, he was the son of Richard and Edith Mahood.

Ed was married to Betty Christy on July 31, 1969, she passed away April 24, 1998.

Ed retired form ITT Rezner  in Mercer, he worked on the assemble line.  Ed enjoyed fishing and watching the deer at his home.  He would often be seen riding his lawn mower to the local ponds in Clintonville to fish.  When Ed's heath permitted he enjoyed working on cars.

Loved ones left to cherish his memory is his sister Thelma Sowers of Grove City, his brothers Joe Mahood of Pittsburgh, Paul Mahood of Sharon and Richard Mahood of Polk.  His companion Rose Gravatt of Clintonville and his sister in laws Mary Hamilton and her companion Dennis of Clintonville and Ruth Molton and her husband Gene of Jamestown.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.  

Preceded in death by his parents, wife brothers Ron and Jim Mahood, sisters Florence Beatty, Margie Snow, Mary Anne Seelbaugh and a infant sister.

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 11-1 and from 3-5 with funeral services to take place at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Denise Maines officiating from Grace United Methodist Church. 

The family suggest in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the funeral home.
