Garnett Hedglin

Garnett Hedglin, 85, of Orchard Manor formerly of Clintonville, passed away peacefully August 28, 2018.

Garnett was born August 3, 1933 in Venango  County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian McFarland Croy and had eight brothers and sisters. 

She attended school at the Van Dyke School in Venango County.   Garnett married the love of her life Robert Hedglin on January 22, 1948 and celebrated 70 years of marriage last January.     Together the couple had six children.    Garnett spent her life as a devoted wife and mother.    Her strong love of the Lord was one of the many gifts she shared with her family.   Garnett also loved gardening and spent many days working in her yard.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory is her husband Bob of Orchard Manor, her children Diana Wilson and husband Gary of Clintonville, Garett Hedglin and wife Becky of Clintonville, Cathy Colyer  and husband Churck of New Castle,  Connie McFadden and her husband Steve of Clintonville, Shirley Shellhammer of Clintonville, and Richard Hedglin and his wife Tracy of Clintonville.  Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren

Interment took place August 30, 2018 at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.  Services where private.  The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville where in charge of the arrangements.
