John Dudash Obituary

John Ryan Dudash, 75 of Transfer passed away June 8, 2018

He was born in Butler to Majorie McDeavitt & Frank Ryan Dudash on January 28, 1943.

John was married to June Elaine Dudash on December 11, 1961, June passed away December 20, 2012.

He graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1960.  John was a American veteran and proudly served his country in Desert Storm in the Air Force reserves in Vienna, Ohio which he retired from on January 8, 1994.  He also served in the Coast Guard, Navy, Army all totally 30 plus years of service. He received Staff Sergeant status while in the Air Force Reserves. He worked as a diesel mechanic for over many years till he retired in April of 2000.

He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, nascar & taking his dearly beloved dogs, Prince & Duke for car rides. 

Loved ones left to cherish John's memory all 5 of his children: Frank Dudash, Gayle Maker, Lynne Grace, Margaret (Peggy) Donahue & Judith Dudash.   He also has eleven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by his wife and grandson Robert John Dtulowski, who passed away  August 11, 2016.

A memorial service will take place, Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA with a  hour of visitation prior to the memorial service.  . After the service all are invited to the ROAR recovery center located at 912 East State Street Sharon Pa 16146 for a luncheon together.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to ROAR (Removing Obstacles to Assist Recovery) group through the Mercer County Coalition for Drug Awareness at 912 East State Street Sharon Pa 16146. This is a drug free place where recovering addicts can begin to live their life without drugs or alcohol while supporting one another & having positive interactions with several activities available to keep them engaged so they won’t want to revert back to drug use if they know they have a place to go to do activities with other recovering addicts.
