Margaret Jewell

Margaret Jewell, 80 of Kinsman Ohio, passed away April 23, 2019 at Sharon Regional Hospital.

Margaret was born February 19, 1939 in Victory Township, Butler County.  She was the daughter of Oatis P. Surrena Sr and Bessie Collingwood Surrena.

Margaret attended Windy Point School and later the Van Dyke Schools.

She married David Jewell on March 20, 1965, together the couple celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Margaret retired from Target Stamp Products in Kinsman Ohio, after 35 years as a press operator.   She enjoyed gardening especially her flowers gardens.  Margaret spent hours working on her flowers beds of tulips and roses.  Margaret loved and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Loved ones left to cherish her memory; her husband of 54 years David Jewell of Kinsman Ohio, her son Bob Bell and his wife Shelia of Grove City, her granddaughters Jamie and Jeanie and her 4 great grandchildren.  Her two sisters Mary Brown and her husband Gary of New Castle and Lillian Schultz of Greenville.  Her two brothers Ray Surrena of Fort Worth Texas and Sherrill Surrena of Jamestown New York. 

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Russell Surrena, Ray Surrena, Don Surrena , Jack Surrena , Francis Surrena and Oatis Surrena Jr. and a infant sister Ruby Surrena.

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home,  109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA 16372 on Friday, April 26,  from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.  Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Denny Barger officiating.    Burial will take place at Rocky Springs Cemetery.
