Robert "Bob" Holland

Robert “Bob” Holland, 89 of Tennessee passed away at his daughters’ home November 2, 2019.

Bob was born December 31, 1929 in Georgia, he was son of the late John F. and Dorothea S. Holland.

Bob proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict, he enlisted in both the US Navy and US Air Force.

He was married to  Lois Richie Holland, she preceded him in death in 1985.  

Bob retired from Hamilton County in Chattanooga after more than 35 years as an HVAC Technician in Chattanooga. 

Loved ones left to cherish Bob’s memory are his children Linda Snyder and her husband Clay of Emlenton and Starla Collins of Panama City, Florida.  His grandchildren Conner Chase of Georgia, Carter Chase of Emlenton, Stefanie Darity and her husband Brian of Georgia and Miranda Hunter and her husband Tad of Georgia.  Several great grandchildren also survive. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, his brother John Holland and his wife Barbara, and longtime companion Bonnie Moore.

Services were private.  The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home handled the arrangements for the family.
