Virginia Patterson

Virginia L. Patterson, 78, of Grove City passed away peacefully March 10, 2019 at Avalon Springs Place in Mercer.

Virginia was born November 23, 1940 in North Washington, Butler County, was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Jessie M. Wood Bell.

Virginia graduated from Grove City High School.   Virginia married Donald G. Patterson on February 12, 1960, together the couple enjoyed 59 years of marriage. 

Virginia worked as a sales associated and manager of Dairy Mart Convenience  Store in Grove City, she retired in 2002.  Virginia worked part time for the stores new owners until 2011.  She was a member of Church of God on Scrubgrass Road, Grove City.    She enjoyed going camping with her family and gardening. 

Loved ones left to cherish Virginia's memory is her husband Donald of Grove City, her two sons Donald G. Patterson Jr. and his wife Mary of Grove City and Michael L. Patterson and his wife Mary Lisa of Grove City.   Her grandchildren Chanel Patterson and her fiancé Chris Lovett of Barkeyville and  Donald Guy Patterson and his wife Amanda of Grove City; her two great grandchildren Lea Ashley Patterson of Grove City and Daxton Barry Lovett of Barkeyville.  Virginia's sister Freida J. Haag of Grove City.

Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Howard W. Bell.

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 5-8pm, funeral services will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Texter officiating from the Church of God.
