Daniel Stewart

Daniel L. Stewart, 63, of Clintonville passed away November 20, 2023 at his home. 

Dan was born January 8, 1960 in Butler to the late Donald and Margaret “Peggy” Stewart. 

Dan graduated from Peabody High School.  He last worked at PSC Metals in Slippery Rock as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  Earlier in life Dan loved to hunt with his family and friends.  He enjoyed wood working and especially his model trains.  He devoted rooms to his model trains.  He was an avid muzzle loader builder.  

Loved ones to cherish his memory are his children Amanda Preaux and her husband Mark and Samantha Long, step children Tesha Parker and Tim (Holly) Barr, his brothers Dickie (Beth) Stewart, Donald “Earl” (Tammy) Stewart, a sister Rev. Lorrie Ghering-Burick (Daniel), his grandchildren Julian, Eli and Mia.  Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.  

Preceded in death by his parents and his wife Shari. 

The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
