Donna Erskine

Donna Erskine (Bowe), 69, of Emlenton, PA, passed peacefully Tuesday morning 6, May 2025 after a valiant struggle against health issues. Beloved mother and grandmother, sister, cherished friend, and talented artist, Donna leaves a legacy of love, caring, and charity. Born in Delbarton, West Virginia 9 February 1956 to Alfred Bowe and Elizabeth Muncy Bowe, she studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1974. An avid artist, she could always be found with either a paintbrush in her hand or crocheting a new piece for her family. 

Donna was preceded in passing by her father, Alfred Bowe, her mother, Elizabeth Muncy Bowe, sister, Geraldine Martinez, and brother, Michael Bowe.

She leaves behind her husband Dave Erskine, daughter Laurel Brunsgaard Sutterfield of Slippery Rock, PA., and her husband James, children, Christian Brunsgaard and Isabella Savage, her son Eric Brunsgaard, his children Jeanette Weston, Dana Brunsgaard, and Kyle Brunsgaard, along with his fiancé Melissa Miller of Parker, PA., her sister, Brenda Morris and her husband Roger of Clay, West Virginia, and her brother Roger Bowe of Illinois, along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom love her and will miss her dearly.     

Per Donna’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service or funeral service.
