Frank J. Trojanowski, 94,   Frank was the oldest living resident of Clintonville having lived in the area for over 60 years, passed away April 22, 2016 at Trinity Living Center in Grove City, PA.

Frank was born October 22, 1921 in Portage PA   He was the son of Joseph and Christine Trojanowski.

He married  Harriet Dennis on June 24, 1948 in Maryland.   She passed away June 4, 1992.   They celebrated 44 years of marriage.   

Frank was a of Catholic Faith and was a member at the St Alphonsus Parish of West Sunbury. 

Frank retired from Cooper Bessemer in  Grove City, PA  after working 37 years in engine controls as a tubing fitter on the erection  floor.

  Frank served in World War II in the Army in the Battery A 241st Field Artillery Battalion.  Frank received the Good Conduct Medal,  American Theater Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze stars and the Victory medal.  He fought in the Battle of the Bulge under Patton.   He was honorable discharged December 22, 1945.

Frank helped start the Little League in Clintonville and the surrounding areas in 1957 along with his wife,  Harriet and Alice Miller.  He and his wife Harriet

also managed and coached a men's softball team in Clintonville for several years.

  He enjoyed gardening and visiting with people while out burning papers or at the post office.  You could always see Frank in the morning coming back from his early morning stroll with one of his favorite dogs.  He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them when his health permitted.   One of Frank's favorite past times was watching wrestling on TV.    He will be missed by his family and the Clintonville community. 

Frank is survived by two children,   his son Dennis L. Trojanowski and his wife Sarita of Clintonville and his daughter Kristine S. McFeely and her husband Dan of Clintonville.   Grandchildren:  Curt McFeely of Jackson Center and wife, Jennifer.    Greg McFeely of Lisbon and his girlfriend, Adrienne.     Dana Coast and husband, Clair, of Harrisville.   Joel Trojanowski of Harrisville.   Guy Simons of Clintonville, and Justin Trojanowski and his wife, Trish, of Clintonville.    His great grandchildren:  Brandon, Shane and Cameron McFeely, Taylor McFeely, Bridget, Breanna and Andi Coast, Tyler and Mikah Trojanowski, Kelsey and Kylie Simons, and Sydney Trojanowski   .He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, all of his siblings, and a grandson, Jeremy Coast who passed away June 11, 2015. 

Private family services were held Monday at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville.   Interment took place at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.   Father James Bedillion officiated. Friends can e-mail condolences or share a memory of Frank  by visiting www.mckinleyfuneralhome.net
