H. Jane McFadden, 77, Kennerdell went to live with her heavenly father on January 4, 2026.
Jane was born March 11, 1948 in Frankin. She was the daughter of the late Donald M. Roxberry and Ardeth McElhinney Roxberry.
Jane graduated from Franklin High School in 1966 with Honors. She continued her education at the Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis Minnesota for flight school. Jane married the love of her life William L. McFadden in 1968 and together the couple had a daughter Mele.
Jane retired from USDA in 1994 as a program assistant. She previously had been employed at US Air.
Jane was an active member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Clintonville. She held numerous roles at the church over the years such as Sunday School teacher, she was an Elder and Deacon as well. Jane enjoyed spending time with beloved daughter and her family. Her and Bill spent numerous winters in Kailua-Kona Hawaii where they sponsored trips since 1972 and hosted many group tours. Jane loved reading, quilting and baking for her family and friends. Over the years Jane was a member of the Where the Corners Meet Quilt Guild and the Baird Simcox Builders Class. Even through Jane’s heath struggles with Lupus, her faith in her Lord and Savior never wavered.
Loved ones to cherish her memory is her husband Bill McFadden of Kennerdell, her daughter Mele Steadman and her husband Micheal of Kennerdell, and her beloved grandchildren Cameron Steadman and Madison Croll and her husband Braden; Jane’s great granddaughter Renley, Jane’s sister Rose M. (Henry) Murrietta and her brother Donald “Rocky” (Julie) Roxberry also survive.
Jane was welcomed into heaven by her parents, her daughter Rubiann and her sister Deanna Walter
Family will welcome friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the Union Presbyterian Church, 409 Emlenton Street, Clintonville on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to the funeral service. Rev. Mark Frailey, pastor from the church will be officiating the funeral service. Burial will take place at the Calvert Riddle Cemetery.
Jane requested in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Union Presbyterian Church, 409 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA 16372.
