James E. McChesney

James E. McChesney, 84, of Wesley passed at his home July 11, 2024.

Jim was born April 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Harvey and Eleanor McChesney.

He was married to Shirley Hoffman McChesney on June 18, 1960, she survives.

Jim worked last as a crane operator.  Jim proudly served in the National Guard.  

Loved ones to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley, his children James McChesney II, Joe McChesney, Deana Beighly (Dennis) and Doreen Roberts (Wesley), his sister Shirley McFeaters and brother Clifford McChesney (Nadine), 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. His honorary daughter Rashele and granddaughter Priscilla.   

Jim was welcomed into heaven by his parents, his brother Harvey "Ed" McChesney, two grandsons Joseph McChesney Jr. and Welsey Roberts II and one great grandson. 

Services for Jim will be private to the family.   Burial will take place at Peters Chapel Cemetery.
