Joan Carol Bell, 76, of Boyers passed away July 8, 2025 at the AHN Grove City Hospital.
Carol was born February 12, 1949 in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lilian A. Fix Baker.
Carol graduated from Victory Joint School. She married the late David L. Bell on July 29, 1967. Together the couple had two daughters Carol and Pam. David passed away June 15, 2013.
Carol was a devoted mother and wife to her family. She loved to feed and watch the birds, especially the orioles, even if that brought in the unwanted visit of a black bear. She replaced numerous feeders but she always kept them filled. She loved to do crafts. She was an excellent crocheter and those items will be treasured by her family.
Loved ones to cherish her memory are her daughters Carol Felix and her husband George of Slippery Rock and Pamela Bell of Harrisville. Her brother Eric “Butch” Baker, Her grandchildren Joshua Bell and his fiancée Payden, Zachary Bell, Tyler Baker and his wife Melissa and Emily Davison and her husband Charlie; her beloved great grandchildren Serenity Grace and Gavin.
Carol was welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, sister Judy Baker and son in law Jim Baker.
A celebration of Carol’s life will take place Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville at 1:00 p.m. A time to visit and gather will take place prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. till the start of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
