John R. Brick, 69, of Franklin formerly of Barkeyville passed away at home, August 21, 2020 surrounded by his family.
John was born September 4, 1950 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Regis C. and Eudora (Dolly) Knight Brick.
John received his education from the Franklin School District. John married Vera Williams on September 21, 1966. The couple would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this year.
John retired from Franklin Steel. He was also employed at Monaco Cycle Sales as a mechanic. He was a past member of the Grove City Sportsman Club. John was true outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and keeping busy in the garden. Racing his 750 Trident was a favorite past time. John was avid Steeler and Pirates Fan. He will be dearly missed by his 5 shiatzu’s and his cat champs.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory, his wife Vera of Franklin, his son Craig A. Brick and his wife Kimberly of Jackson Center. His grandchildren Tessa Sue Brick, Mitchell McCarl, Mary Brick and Elizabeth Brick. He also is survived by 7 great grandchildren. His sister Joyce Bugley or Harrisville and LeeAnn Robb and her husband Art of Slippery Rock, his brother Regis C. Brick II and his wife Diona of Harrisville. John is also survived by 3 nephews and one niece.
John is preceded in death by his parents and 3 infant great grandchildren.
Family will welcome friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville Pa on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. with the funeral to take place at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Randy Kighlinger will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Barkeyville Cemetery.
