June M. Cervenec

June M. Cervenec, 86, formerly of Kennerdell passed away peacefully, July 24, 2024 at Grove Manor in Grove City.

June was born December 28, 1937 in Emlenton.  She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mable (Sheffer) Sherman.

June attended school in St. Petersburg.  She was married to Leonard Cervenec on December 28, 1954.  Together the couple had 4 children, Kerry, Damien, Sherri and Lisa.

In June’s spare time she enjoyed bowling and crocheting. 

Loved ones to cherish her memory are her children Kerry (Lori) Cervenec of Florida, Damien Cervenec of Kennerdell, Sherri Mealey of Grove City and Lisa Bunker (Don) of Ohio.  Her grandchildren Ryan (Jen) Cervenec, Brandy Mealey, Erin (Scott) Faith, Mitchel (Jessie) Gothe, Jade Cervenec, Emerson Gothe-Dunn, Declan Gothe-Dunn and Sutton Faith.  Her brother Harry Sherman and sister Maxine Letsko also survive. 

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard who passed away July 5, 1999, her brothers Donald, John “Barney” and Richard “Dick” Sherman, her sister Helen Gutherie and her son in law Randy Mealey.
