Kathy Rea, 72 of Slippery Rock, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving husband at her side,
April 12, 2024.
Kathy was born May 7, 1951 in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late William and Freda Surrena.
Kathy was married to Timothy Rea on June 2, 1972, he survives.
Kathy graduated from Franklin High School. She was last employed at her and husband’s business Custom Value Repair as the book keeper.
Kathy enjoyed watching Pirates Games and being with her family.
Loved ones to cherish Kathy’s memory is her husband Tim D. Rea of Slippery Rock and her son Tim H. Rea of New Castle. Kathy’s two brothers also survive William “Bill” Surrena of Harrisville and Allen Surrena of Clintonville.
Kathy was welcomed into heaven by her parents.
A time of gathering will take place Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville, from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Drake.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Kathy’s honor be sent to St. Jude’s or the American Cancer Society.
