Kelly L. Rossi, 67, of Harrisville passed away June 16, 2025 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Kelly was born May 4, 1958 in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Richard “Dick” and Delores “Dee” (Thompson) Evans.
Kelly graduated from Franklin High School in 1977. She continued her education at the Mercer County Career Center School of Nursing. Kelly was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Kelly was married to Christopher Rossi on April 11, 2002. He proceeded her in death.
Kelly was raised on the family farm and had a lifetime love for horses and greyhounds. Kelly and the love of her life, her husband Chris, were inseparable for over 30 years until his death in June of 2023. She was a determined student and earned her license in Practical Nursing in 2004. She was an avid traveler and would often go on cruises with her friends and family. While traveling with her husband Chris, they liked to explore the different casinos in the area. She recently fell in love with Spain during a trip to Europe with best friend and sister, Sharyn. Kelly loved her family fiercely and treasured the friendships she made while working in nursing.
Loved ones to cherish Kelly’s memory are her children Ryan Adsit of Florida, Kacie Chiappini of New Mexico, Marcee Hines- (Ray) Van Dusen of Mercer, Ryan (Sarah) Rossi of Washington and Krista Elbaz of Mercer; her sister Sharyn (John) McGallis of Grove City and her brother William (Kathy) Evans of Harrisville; Kelly’s beloved 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter on the way in September and 1 great grandson on the way in November. Kelly is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
Kelly was proceeded in death by her parents, husband and her brother Scott Evans.
The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
