Kenneth Stewart

Kenneth F. Stewart, 65, of Kennerdell passed away May 13, 2025 at UPMC Seneca.

Ken was born July 8, 1959 in Franklin.  He was the son of the late Feril K. Stewart and Elizabeth (Jolley) Dean.

He married Opal Stewart on October 11, 1983, she survives.

He was a graduate of Franklin High School.  Ken had retired from Honeywell and as a tax preparer.

Ken enjoyed his work.  He loved to spend time with his wife Opal and loved his dog, Molly.  He was an avid fan of all the Pittsburgh Sports Teams. 

Ken will be remembered by his wife Opal of Kennerdell, his daughter Heidi (Brian) Moore of Kennerdell, his brother Sterling Lee Stewart of Franklin, his sister Amanda (Brian) Mushrush of Meadville, his brother in laws Barry (Julie) Latchaw of Clintonville, Rick (Cheri) of Greenville and Herb (Judy) Latchaw of Missouri.  His sister-in-law Laura (Dan) Rhodes of Florida.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his niece Elizabeth Rose and brother-in-law Chuck Latchaw.

The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home is assisting the family with Ken’s arrangements.  There are no services planned at this time.
