Melissa Gadsby

Melissa M. Gadsby, 43, of Rocky Grove, passed away August 13, 2023 at the AHN Grove City.

Melissa was born April 3, 1980 in Grove City and was the daughter of Henry and Rosetta (McBride) Gadsby.

Melissa graduated from Franklin High School and had been previously employed at Sanders Grocery Store in the deli department.

Melissa loved being Nana to her grandson whom she lovingly called Bugga. She loved having her family together, and working on different projects together. She would be the first to offer any help she could, and she would always make sure her loved ones were taken care of.  Melissa overcame numerous obstacles in her life.  She faced numerous challenges but she never gave up and always kept her free spirit and loving soul intact. 

Loved ones to cherish her memory are her children Kelsey, Kassidy, Kyle and Kurtis Buckley.  Melissa’s grandson Kenneth Shook II, her parents also survive Henry and Rosetta Gadsby and her brother Henry and her two sisters.

Preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law Charles McDivitt.

A celebration of Melissa’s life is being scheduled for a later date.  The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, Clintonville PA is assisting the family with the arrangements.
