Melissa A. Lemieux

Melissa A. Lemieux, 50 of Kennerdell passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Melissa was born April 22, 1967 she was the daughter of Clarence "Bob" Parker and Kathryn Carr Parker.

Melissa attended AC-Valley High School and graduated from Community Christian School in Salem.  Melissa attended Slippery Rock University for three years. 

Melissa proudly served her country having enlisted in the US Air Force.

Melissa previously worked at George Junior Republic in Grove City. 

Melissa didn't meet a animal she didn't love.  She homed many strays and took pride in taking great care of them.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured her children.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her mother Kathryn Parker of Kennerdell, her children Andrew Lemieux of Vermont, Ashley Lemieux of Vermont,  Ariana Kay Parker Wynn of Kennerdell and Abigayle Carol Wynn of Kennerdell.  Her brother James Rankin and sister Sherri Rankin.  Two grandchildren Briona and Dominick of Vermont. 

Preceded in death by her father and her grandparents Moses & Mable Horton.

Family will recieve friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from noon to 2:00 pm.  Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm with James Oliphant officiating  the service.
