Nancy J. Klingensmith, 70, of Slippery Rock, passed away December 19, 2025 at Butler Hospital.
Nancy was born in Meadville on October 23, 1955. She was the daughter of the late William Smith and Martha Beard.
She graduated from Franklin High School. Nancy married Richard Klingensmith on September 23, 1983. He passed away November 30, 2020. Together the couple had a daughter, Heather, who was treasured by all.
Nancy retired from Polk Center as a RSA. She enjoyed doing numerous types of crafts. Her and her friend JoAnne Fejko loved going to crafts shows on the weekends.
Loved ones to cherish her memory is her niece Diane Lowrey, brothers and sisters Chris, John (Jeanne), Robert (Darlene), Mike (Faith), Mary Madilyn and Paula (Bruce). Numerous other nieces and nephews and Nancy’s dear friend Donna Ross and her husband Mike and their son Michael also survive.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rich and her beloved daughter Heather. Sisters Molly and Bettie and her brother Clyde also passed away.
Per Nancy wishes there will be no services. The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
