Naomi Cheeks Obituary

Naomi Louise Cheeks passed away on February 4, 2022 in Westlake Ohio at Brighton Gardens, she was formerly from Butler.

Naomi was born September 21, 1929 in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Danner Plank and Mary Bishop Plank. She was married to Wilbur Beasley Cheeks, he preceded her in death in 2013. Together the couple lived the Pearl Pa after their retirement in their log cabin they built together.

Naomi enjoyed all types of craftwork and liked doing crossword puzzles. She had a ready smile and was liked by everyone that she met.

Loved ones to cherish her memory are her two sons; Wilbur (Cork) Cheeks (Ron Gehrlein) of Cleveland Ohio and Karl Dean Cheeks (Sharon Cheeks) of Butler PA.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 10 siblings.

Arrangements were handled by Heritage Cremation and Burial Society. Local services were handled by the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, Clintonville PA. Services were private.
