Robert Link

Robert Joseph Christy Link, 53, of Boyers passed away May 2, 2025.

Bob was born July 13, 1971 in Butler to Eileen Christy Link.  Bob graduated from Knoch High School.  After graduating high school Bob enlisted in the United States Marines.  He was a peacetime veteran.

Bob married Cathy Hicks on March 31, 2009; she survives.  Together the couple had a daughter Sara Ann Link who Bob adored. 

Bob most recently worked for Analytic Stress Company as a combustion technician. 

Bob and Cathy loved to travel. They took trips out west on their Gold Wing.  He was always up to go somewhere new.  He also enjoyed being home with his girls, especially Sara, his daughter, whom he cherished.   Bob’s favorite color was dark blue.

Loved ones to cherish Bob’s memory is his wife Cathy Link of Boyers, his daughter Sara Ann Link at home, his mother Eileen Christy of Hilliards, his two brothers Pat Kerry of Chicora and Dave Christy of Hilliards, and his mother-in-law Cathy Hicks of Karns City.

Bob was welcomed into heaven by Kenny Link his adopted father, William Hicks his father-in-law and Mary Link his maternal grandmother. 

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Sinners Sanctuary Church, 2178 Clintonville Road, Harrisville PA 16038 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sam Stebbins officiating.

The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers the family has asked to mail donations to the church to help with funeral expenses.
