Steve Engles Obituary

Steve Engles, 62 of Clintonville passed away September  11, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. 

Steve was born February 19, 1956 in Franklin to the late James Schimp and Mary Engles. 

Steve graduated from Franklin High School.  He began working at Joy Manufacturing as a machine wirer but most recently drove school bus for Transerve Bus Company. 

Steve was active member of the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department for the past 39 years, not only as Fire Police but in earlier years as a firefighter as well.  He took pride in serving his community and passed his knowledge down to his boys who are also active in the fire department.   Steve loved the outdoors, whether it is fishing with his family and friends or out hunting.   He archery hunted when his heath permitted but looked forward to rifle season every year.    The true joy in Steve's life came from his granddaughters Katie, Destiny and Sofia.   He treasured there time together.   Steve loved his animals especially his dog Daisy and cat Pisser.  Steve's smile and kind heart will be missed dearly not only by his family but also in Clintonville Community. 

Loved ones left to cherish his memory is his wife Linda Engles of Clintonville, his sons Stephen Engles and wife Lisa of Clintonville and Shawn Engles and his girlfriend Megan of Clintonville; his 3 granddaughters Katie, Destiny and Sofia.  Steve's sister Wanda Semple of Grove City and his brother Andrew Engles of New Orleans, brother in law Neal Schaeffer of Clintonville sister in law Dottie Kowal and husband Tim of Grove City.  Several nieces and nephews.  Steve is also survived by his two dear friends Alan Heller of Franklin and Alfred Fallas of Harrison City. 

Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Joyce Fellner, Dixie Clark and Mary Fife, brother Manuel Engles.  A brother in law William Semple.

Family will welcome friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8.  Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Sam Stebbins from the Sinners Sanctuary Church officiating.
