Tammy Jacobson Obituary

Tammy Jacobson, 62, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully at her home on June 28, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1963, in Butler, Pennsylvania, Tammy was the daughter of the late Gerald and Hazel Baptiste.

Tammy married the love of her life, Andrew Jacobson, and together they shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this July 4th.

Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life centered around her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and especially her beloved grandchildren. She loved baking with them, creating memories they will cherish forever. She was happiest outdoors, whether hiking when her health allowed or spending sunny days swimming with her family at Moraine State Park.

Tammy and Andrew rarely missed a day together. Whether they were enjoying Chinese food at any hour, browsing thrift stores, or simply sharing long conversations, they treasured every moment. Her family will forever miss the countless hours spent talking, laughing, and sharing life's joys and challenges with her.

A lifelong animal lover, Tammy cared deeply for wildlife from childhood through adulthood. She also expressed her love through her creativity, making keepsake purses for her granddaughters that will be treasured for generations. She found joy in life's simple blessings and had a way of making those around her feel loved, heard, and welcome. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Andrew Jacobson; her children, Jess (Robert) Drnek III, Andy (Ron) Lutz, Maxine Jacobson, and Adelyn Jacobson; her cherished grandchildren, Adam, Sadie, Bobby, Nevaeh, Maelynn, Aleena, Hunter, and Jacob; her sisters, Elsie "Mackey" (Dean) Sarvey and Irene (Anthony) Amendolea; and her brother, Roger Baptiste.

Tammy was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Gerald and Hazel Baptiste; her parents-in-law, Alvin and Joan Jacobson; and her brother, Jerry Baptiste.

A private family service will be held at a later date. The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home of Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
